Distribution

Worldwide. Afrotropical region: Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, Somalia, South Africa, St Helena, Uganda, Zimbabwe,  Yemen.

Biology Parasitoids of flies (Drosophilidae, Sepsidae, Ephydridae) living in concealed and decomposing habitats i.e. debris, dung, carrion, fruit, fungi, grass, sea-wrack, aquatic plants etc.
