Biology |
Prorops nasuta
is a parasitoid of the curculionid beetle
Hypothenemus
hampei Ferrari, 1871, a global pest of
coffee,
and has been introduced into many countries as a biocontrol agent
of this coffee berry bore (Murphy & Moore, 1990; Pérez-Lachaud & Hardy,
1999;
Waichert & Azevedo, 2012). |
