Tessmannella expansa Quinlan 1979. Holotype: (MNHN). Type Locality: Moyen-Ogooué Prov., Lambaréné (Gabon).

Diagnosis

Closely resembles T. nigra and T. spinosa in having fully infuscate wings; differented from these species having the medial facial area horizontally striate (shagreened in T. spinosa), and by having the ventral malar margin distinctly striate (gently shagreened in T. nigra).
