Coptera magnifica (Nixon)

(Life: Kingdom: Metazoa (animals); Phylum: Arthropoda; Class: Hexapoda; Order: Hymenoptera; Superfamily: Diaprioidea; Family: Diapriidae; Subfamily: Diapriinae; Genus: Coptera)

Galesus (Schizogalesus) magnificus Nixon, 1930: 401, 408.  Syntypes female (BMNH 9.660) and another female in the Natural History Museum, London (NHMUK). Type localities: Eastern Cape Province, Port St Johns; Kwazulu-Natal, Kloof, South Africa. Junior synonym of Coptera robustior (Silvestri, 1913). Synonymy by Yoder and Wharton (2002).

South Africa.
