Biology

Parasitoids of beetle larvae in the families
Cucujidae, Curculionidae and Tenebrionidae (Coleoptera) feeding in
concealed situations. Holepyris sylvanidis
is an important cosmopolitan parasitoid, controlling populations of the
Confused Flour beetle, Tribolium confusum (Tenebrionidae), which
is a serious cosmopolitan pest of stored products containing flour,
infestation potentially having major economic impact (Amante et al
2017). |
