Distribution

Afrotropical: South Africa (introduced). Australasian: Australia.

Biology

Phytophagous bud-gall former on Golden Wattle, Acacia pycnantha (Mimosoidea) (Dennill & Gordon, 1991; Dennill et al. 1999). Also recorded in Australia from galls on Acacia rivalis Bouček (1988).
