Masarina gabymariae Gess, 2012. Holotype: In Albany Museum, Grahamstown, South Africa (AMG). Type Locality: Darling Renosterveld Reserve, Darling (33.23°S, 18.23°E), South Africa.

Distribution

South Africa (Western Cape).

Biology

Visiting red flowers of Hermannia (Mahernia) diffusa L. f., Malvaceae: Sterculioideae). Recorded in association with, and possible host of Allocoelia quinquedens Edney (Chrysididae) (Gess, 2012).
