Ichneumon agrestorius Swederus, 1787. Holotype: in the Natural History Museum, London (BMNH). Type locality: Society Islands (Pacific Ocean).

Distribution

Afrotropical, Indo-Australian, Oceanic & Palaearctic regions. A common globally widespread species.

Biology

Endoparasitoid of a broad range of butterfly and moth families (Lepidoptera).
