Pristocera rhodesiae Turner, 1928, 1: 142. Holotype: in South African Museum, Cape Town. Type locality: "Sawmills, S. Rhodesia"

Taxonomy: Benoit 1963, 119: 34, 50-51, fig 81; Krombein 1989, 91: 620, 624-627, figs 14-21 (holotype redescribed; male described).
