Distribution Worldwide.
Biology Ormyridae are associated with plant galls, either as gall formers or as parasitoids of gall formers. Asparagobius form galls on Asparagus (Asparagaceae); Hemadas produces galls on Vaccinium (Ericaceae); Halleriaphagus galls Halleria (Stilbaceae); Ormyrus are parasitoids of gall formers.
