Distribution

South Africa.

Biology

Nest in existing holes in dead wood and provision with aphids. The nests are sealed with a transparent resin-like substance (Bohart & Menke, 1976). Parasitized by Ecdamua macrotelus Walker, 1862 (Torymidae).
