Comments

This species is similar to
P.
africanus but only has posterior pale bands on tergites 1 and 3,
whereas P. africanus has bands only on tergites 1 and 2. |
Biology |
Social, constructing communal paper nests
comprising a single horizontally orientated comb with downward pointing
cells. Larvae are fed on chewed-up, soft-bodied insects such as
caterpillars. |
