Distribution

Angola, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Biology

Females specialize on hunting Baboon spiders (Theraphosidae) and Rain spiders (Palystes) to provision their nest with as a paralysed food resource for development of their larvae.
