Biology

Females hunt and paralyze ground wandering spiders (Lycosidae; Pisauridae; Salticidae; Sparassidae) removing the spider's legs before transporting the prey to their nest. This species constructs a funnel-shaped entrance turret to the nest (Evans & Shimizu 1996, 1998; Gess & Gess, 2014).
