Distribution	Afrotropical, Oriental and Palaearctic regions (probable centre of speciation lies between the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean (Lelej, 2002; 2005) extending to the Oriental region (western India) and the southern Arabian Peninsula (Arabia, Yemen, Oman and UAE) (Lelej & van Harten, 2006; 2010; 2011; Lo Cascio, Romana & Grita, 2012).
Biology	Nocturnal or crepuscular.
