Epirhyssa species occur in
the Oriental, Neotropical and Afrotropical regions (50, 45 and 12
species, respectively), and also in the Eastern Palaearctic,
Australasian and Nearctic regions (8, 4 and 1 species, respectively).

Papua New Guinea.
Nearctic region: Mexico,
USA.
Neotropical
region: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Nicaragua,
Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad.
