Large species characterized by a combination of tricolor
pattern, and the mandible broad and twisted with the lower tooth
distinctly longer than the upper one (Rousse et al., 2011). |
Etymology
|
Refers to the coloration pattern: “telo loko” means
“three colors” in the Malagasy language. |
