A paper wasp, Polistes africanus (Vespidae) that has
fallen prey to a Robber fly, Hyperechia bifasciata
(Asilidae), which is a Carpenter bee mimic. The little flies are
Jackal flies (Milichiidae) that hang around predators and scavenge
on body juices that leak from their prey.
