Norbanus caloramans Mitroiu

Norbanus caloramans Mitroiu, 2015. Holotype in Canadian National Collection of Insects, Ottawa (CNCI). Type locality: Serowe Farmer’s Brigade (Botswana).

Distribution

Botswana, Kenya, Madagascar, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe (Mitroiu, 2015).

Biology

Unknown. One female was collected on Eragrostis spinosa (L.f.) Trin. (Poaceae), while five others were swept on Tribulus sp. and T. terrestris (Zygophyllaceae); both plants thrive in arid habitats (Mitroiu, 2015).
