Distribution

Worldwide.

Biology

Solitary predatory wasps, provisioning nest with paralyzed spiders (Aranaea) that is either constructed in the ground, or constructed from mud within sheltered situations, or in pre-existing cavities such as hollow stems, or old abandoned nests, or key-holes (Bohart & Menke, 1976; Gess & Gess, 2014).
