Distribution

Worldwide, except for Australasian region.

Biology

Solitary predatory wasps, provisioning nest constructed in ground, mostly with paralyzed adult Hymenoptera and Diptera; pest of apiculture as preys on Apis mellifera (Bohart & Menke, 1976).
