Stizus savignyi Spinola, 1839. Lectotype: ♀ in Turin, designated by de Beaumont, 1952. no specific locality, Egypt.

Larra succinea Klug, 1845. ♀, ♂. Syntypes in Berlin (ZMHU). Type localities: Ambukohl on Nile west of Korti, Sudan. Synonymy by de Beaumont, 1952.

Malawi, Zambia.

Biology

Females excavate burrows in sandy soil. One to several cells are provisioned with mantids or grasshoppers.
