Afrotropical
region: Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa. Also in
Palaearctic region. |
Biology |
Multi-cellular nests constructed in excavated burrows
surmounted by a mud entrance tunnel. Cells are provisioned with a single
loaf of pollen and nectar (Gess & Gess, 1989; 2004). |
