Dasylabrinae

of the Afrotropical region

(Life: Kingdom: Metazoa (animals); Phylum: Arthropoda; Class: Hexapoda; Order: Hymenoptera; Superfamily: Pompiloidea: Family: Mutillidae)

Classification

Apteromutillini Brothers & Lelej, 2017
Dasylabrini Invrea, 1964

Comments

Apteromutillini was recently synonymized under Dasylabrini based on the recovery of a single apteromutilline genus Brachymutilla within the dasylabrine clade (Waldren et al. 2023). We have retained the tribal separation here until further phylogenetic analyses including the other two apteromutilline genera are conducted.
