Aneuclis larga Khalaim

(Life: Kingdom: Metazoa (animals); Phylum: Arthropoda; Class: Hexapoda; Order: Hymenoptera;  Superfamily: Ichneumonoidea; Family: Ichneumonidae; Subfamily: Tersilochinae); Genus: Aneuclis

Aneuclis larga Khalaim, 2009. Holotype in: Iziko South African Museum, Cape Town (SAMC). Type locality: Hlogoma, Kwazulu-Natal (South Africa)

Holotype South Africa

Afrotropical: Reunion, South Africa, Tanzania.

The coloration pattern of A. larga is very similar to D. ramassamy and both may be sympatric. Males may therefore be confounded without a careful examination of wing venation and antennae. Females of A. larga are easily recognizable by their much shorter ovipositor with straight tip (Rousse & Villemant, 2012).
