Dictyonotus magnificus (Morley)

Europhion magnificus Morley, 1912. Holotype: in The Natural History Museum, London (BMNH). Type locality: Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.

Junior synonym of Dictyonotus nigrocyaneus (Tosquinet, 1903).

Holotype imaged 2003 with hand held Nikon FE2, 105 mm macro lens and 35mm slide film.
 

Distribution

Zimbabwe.

Biology

Host: Lophostethus dumolinii (Sphinginae).
