Euryophion latipennis (Kirby)

Ophion latipenne Kirby, 1896. Holotype: in the Natural History Museum, London (BMNH). Type locality: Ogave, Congo.

Holotype in BMNH imaged 2003 with hand held Nikon FE2 SLR, 105 mm macro lens and 35mm slide film.
 

Distribution

Euryophion latipennis_map

Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, Uganda, Zimbabwe.

Biology

Host: Bunaea caffraria (Saturniinae), Imbrasia macrothyris (Saturniinae), Janomima westwoodi (Eupterotidae).
