Enicospilus transvaalensis Cameron

Henicospilus transvaalensis Cameron, 1911. Holotype: in Iziko South African Museum, Cape Town (SAMC). Type locality:

Distribution

Widely distributed throughout subsaharan Africa, including Madagascar, Mauritius, Reunion (Gauld & Mitchell 1978; Rousse & Villemant, 2012).

Biology

Host: Mythimna sp. (Rousse & Villemant, 2012) and Sesamia calamistis (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae). Comments. Mythimna loreyi is not reported in Reunion (Martiré & Rochat 2008). Cirad’s host record might be a misidentification with another, local, Mythimna species (Rousse & Villemant, 2012).
