Distribution

Worldwide. Widely distributed in Afrotropical Region.

Biology

Hosts: Twenty-three host records belonging to the families Pyralidae, Noctuidae, Tortricidae, Gelechiidae, Tineidae and Yponomeutidae, inlcuding Cadra cautella (Pyraloidea), Cadra figulilella (Pyraloidea), Ectomyelois ceratoniae (Pyraloidea), Ephestia elutella (Pyraloidea).

Diagnosis

Species distinguishable in Reunion by the shape of petiole (generic characteristic): smooth, without glymma and with the sterno-tergal suture on the lateral side (Rousse & Villemant, 2012)
