Phorotrophus elevatus Benoit, 1952. Holotype: in Natural History Museum, London (BMNH). Type locality: S.E. Slopes of Kenya. 6,000 to 7,000 ft Kenya.

Junior synonym of Phorotrophus alcides Wilkinson, 1930.
