Doryctinus africanus Belokobylskij, 2013. Holotype in (MRAC). Type locality: Eala, Democratic Republic of Congo.

Classification

Holotype. (1) Habitus, lateral view; (2) Body, lateral view; (3) Head and mesosoma, lateral view; (4) Head and basal flagellomeres, lateral view; (5) Fore leg; (6) Head, front view; (7) Head, dorsal view; (8) Mesosoma, dorsal view; (9) Propodeum and first-third metasomal tergites, dorsal view; (10) Fore and hind wings; (11) Medial part of fore wing; (12) Basal part of hind wing.

Biology

Reared from beetle larvae in the genera Lyctus Fabricius, 1792 and Minthea Pascoe, 1866 (Lyctidae) and Hypothenemus Westwood, 1836 (Scolytidae).

Distribution

Democratic Republic of Congo.
