Comments

"Risbec (1950) spelt the species name as chari in the key and figure legend and as charii at the head of the description. There is no clear evidence within this work that one or other name is an incorrect spelling (ICZN 1999: Art. 32.5). Applying the first reviser principle (ICZN 1999: Art. 32.2.1) makes chari the valid name from its use by Risbec (1955), in agreement with Johnson (1992)." Verbatim quote from Notton (2004).
