Oberthuerella transiens (Benoit)

Distribution

Democratic Republic of Congo. MAP

Diagnosis

The petiole on this species is unusually long, about 3x longer than its width; other species of Oberthuerella have petioles 2X longer than wide, or less.  In addition, O. transiens has light and dark patches on the forewing, rather than entirely infuscate or entirely hyaline as in other species.
