Dryinus orophilus (Benoit)

(Life: Kingdom: Metazoa (animals); Phylum: Arthropoda; Class: Hexapoda; Order: Hymenoptera; Superfamily: Chrysidoidea; Family: Dryinidae; Subfamily: Dryininae; Genus: Dryinus)

Lestodryinus orophilus Benoit, 1950. Holotype: female in Musée Royal de l'Afrique centrale, Tervuren (RMCA). Type locality: Rutshuru, Democratic Republic of Congo.

Dryinus incertus Olmi, 1984. Synonymy by Olmi, 2006.

Distribution

Angola, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Oman, Yemen, Zimbabwe.

Biology

In Mozambique the hosts are species of Flatidae and Dictyopharidae (Olmi & van Harten, 2006).
