Mesocomys Cameron, 1905. Type species: Mesocomys pulchriceps Cameron, 1905, by monotypy.

Distribution

Madagascar, South Africa.

Also in Oriental and Palaeartic regions.

Biology

Egg parasitoids of large moth species (Lasiocampidae, Lymantriidae, Saturniidae) and also parasitoid of Chrysomya chloropyga (Calliphoridae).
