Classification

Distribution

South Africa, Zimbabwe. Also Palaearctic, Oriental and Indonesian regions.

Biology

Primary parasitoid of butterfly and moth larva/pupa (Lepidoptera): Aglais urticae; Aporia crataegi;  Hyphantria cunea; Lacanobia oleracea; Mylothris agathina; Pieris brassicae; Pieris rapae; Plutella xylostella; Pontia daplidice; Vanessa cardui, or of beetles (Bothynoderes punctiventris); or secondary parasitoid of Tachina grossa (Tachinidae; Diptera) parasitizing Lepidoptera.
